Conversion rate optimization (CRO) is the practice of turning more of your existing visitors into customers — more calls, forms, bookings, or sales — without needing more traffic. It's often the cheapest growth available.
Why it matters
Doubling your conversion rate has the same effect as doubling your traffic — but it's usually faster and cheaper. You're improving the return on visitors you already paid (in time or money) to attract.
