Website maintenance
Website maintenance within a managed website plan
Hosting, security, monitoring, and the everyday content changes your site needs — done by us, every month, for one flat fee.
Website maintenance services are the ongoing work that keeps a live site fast, secure, and current — hosting, SSL, security, uptime monitoring, and the content edits a business needs week to week. We do that work for you as part of a flat monthly plan, so there is no separate maintenance invoice and nothing for you to log into.
Worth knowing before you read on:we don't sell maintenance on its own for a site we didn't build. If you already have a website, we migrate or rebuild it first and then look after it. If you were searching for a maintenance-only retainer on your existing site as it stands, that isn't what this is.
What's covered
What maintenance actually includes
Hosting, SSL & security
Fast hosting on a global CDN with SSL and security included. There is no separate hosting bill to chase and no certificate to remember to renew.
Content updates, done for you
Text us the change — new hours, prices, staff, photos, a service you've added — and we make it. Ten updates a month on Starter, unlimited on Professional and Business.
Uptime monitoring
We watch the site so you find out from us, not from a customer who couldn't reach you.
Speed kept in check
Pages are built to load fast on real phones, and stay that way as content is added, rather than slowing down month after month.
Analytics and reporting
Basic analytics on every plan. Professional and Business add Google Analytics with a plain-English monthly report of what actually happened.
A human who answers
You reach the people who build and run your site — not a ticket queue. Priority support on Professional, same-day on Business.
Why maintenance isn't a separate line item
The usual arrangement is a large build fee, then a care plan on top, then hourly charges for anything the care plan doesn't cover. It creates an awkward incentive: every small change becomes a conversation about money, so businesses stop asking, and the site goes stale.
We bundle it instead. One monthly fee covers the build, the hosting, and the upkeep, which means asking for a change costs you nothing and we have a reason to keep the site working — you can leave at the end of any month.
Maintenance companies vs. a bundled plan
There are two ways to buy website support, and they suit different situations.
A website maintenance companytakes on a site someone else built, usually on a retainer or hourly basis, often on WordPress. That is the right answer when you have a site you're happy with and just need someone to keep it patched and updated. Monthly maintenance packages of this kind commonly run from about $50 to $500 depending on scope.
A bundled plan— what we do — covers the build and the upkeep in one fee. It suits you if your current site needs replacing anyway, or if you'd rather not manage a separate designer, host, and support contract. It does not suit you if you only want your existing site looked after as it stands.
Whichever you choose, check what counts as an included change, how quickly requests are handled, and whether you can leave without losing the site.
Website maintenance FAQ
Not as a standalone service. Maintenance is part of our monthly plans, and those plans cover a site we host and are responsible for. If you already have a site, we migrate or rebuild it first, then take over hosting, updates, and support — you keep your domain and your content. That is the honest answer: we don't sell maintenance-only retainers for sites we didn't build.
Maintenance isn't billed separately. It is part of a flat monthly plan that also covers design, hosting, SSL, and updates — $249 per month on Starter, $449 on Professional, and from $749 on Business, all in USD.
Text, photo, hours, pricing, staff, and service changes — the everyday edits a business actually needs. Starter includes ten a month. Professional and Business are unlimited and usually same-day. Larger redesigns or new functionality are scoped separately.
No. You don't log into a dashboard or learn a page builder. You send the change in plain language and we make it.
No. Every plan is month-to-month with no setup fee. You can cancel from your billing page, effective at the end of the current cycle, with no cancellation fees. Your site, domain, and content are yours.
Across the market, standalone maintenance packages commonly run from roughly $50 to $500 per month depending on what's covered and how fast the response is. Ours isn't priced separately — maintenance is part of the plan that also covers design, hosting, and updates, starting at $249 per month.
We monitor uptime and fix hosting and site issues as part of the plan — there is no separate emergency rate. Professional and Business get priority and same-day support respectively.
Hosting, SSL and security, uptime monitoring, speed upkeep, and content updates done for you — ten a month on Starter, unlimited on Professional and Business. It is part of the monthly plan that also covers the build.
It covers what a website care plan or website management service usually covers — hosting, security, updates, and monitoring — but it comes bundled with the build, for sites we host. We do not sell website management services on their own for a site we did not build.
