Moving from another platform or provider
A lot of redesigns are really migrations: the site works, but it is stuck on a platform you have outgrown, or with a provider you can no longer reach. Being straight about how we handle that — we migrate by rebuilding on our own stack, then host and maintain it. We do not take over someone else's build and leave it as it is.
What comes with you
- Your domain. It stays registered to you; we only change where it points.
- Your content — text, images, and documents — rebuilt into the new pages.
- Your URLs wherever they can be kept, and a redirect for every one that changes.
- Your email, untouched. Moving a website does not have to disturb your mailboxes, and we plan the DNS cutover around that.
What does not transfer
- Platform-specific features that only exist inside a builder — some Wix or Squarespace apps have no direct equivalent, and we will tell you before the build, not after.
- Third-party subscriptions you bought separately. Those stay yours to keep or cancel.
- Plugin-driven functionality on a WordPress site, which we rebuild natively rather than carry over.
If you have lost access to your current site
Common, and usually fixable. The domain is the part that matters: as the business owner you can normally recover it from the registrar with proof of identity, even without the previous developer's help. We can rebuild from what is publicly visible on your live site if the original files are gone. Start the domain recovery early — it is the slowest step and nothing can launch without it.

We reduce that risk: we inventory your current URLs and rankings first, keep the ones we can, redirect every one that changes, and watch Search Console after launch so anything that slips is caught early. What we will not do is promise your positions are safe — Google decides those, not us.
You'll typically see a working preview within about 5 business days of sending your content, and most redesigns go live within roughly two weeks.
