How to do a content audit on your website
A content audit is a review of all the content on your site to see what's performing, what's outdated, and what to improve or remove. As a site grows, it's how you keep your content library healthy and effective.
What to look at
- Which pages get traffic and conversions — and which don't.
- Outdated, inaccurate, or thin content.
- Overlapping pages that compete with each other.
- Gaps where useful content is missing.
Then act
Update what's valuable but dated, merge or prune what's weak, and plan content for the gaps. A periodic audit keeps your best content strong and stops dead weight from dragging down the rest.
