How to test your website before you launch
Launching a website with broken links or forms that don't work costs you customers and credibility. A short round of testing before you go live catches the problems that matter.
The pre-launch checklist
- Click every link and navigation item.
- Submit every form and confirm it actually arrives.
- Check the site on a real phone, not just a desktop.
- Proofread for typos and wrong details.
- Confirm it loads fast and there are no errors.
- Make sure pages aren't blocked from Google.
Test like a customer
Try to actually do what a customer would — call, book, or buy — from a phone. If anything is frustrating or broken for you, fix it before real visitors ever see it.
