How to write a proposal that wins the job
For many service businesses, the proposal is the final step before winning (or losing) a client. A clear, confident proposal makes saying yes easy; a confusing or generic one gives them reasons to hesitate.
What a good proposal includes
- That you understand their problem and goal.
- Exactly what you'll deliver, in plain terms.
- Clear pricing and what's included.
- Proof you can do it (relevant work, results).
- A clear, easy next step.
Make it about them
Focus on their outcome, not just your process. Keep it clear and confident, remove friction from saying yes, and follow up. Often the business goes to whoever made the decision easiest.
