How to define your target audience (and why it changes everything)
The most common marketing mistake is trying to speak to everyone. When you define who you're really for, your website gets sharper, your message resonates, and the right customers feel understood.
Get specific
- Who are your best customers, really?
- What problem are they trying to solve?
- What do they worry about before buying?
- How do they talk about their problem?
Write to that person
Once you know your ideal customer, write your website to them — their words, their concerns, their goals. Speaking directly to the right person converts far better than bland copy aimed at 'everyone'.
