At the moment of decision, small reassurances matter. Trust badges and guarantees reduce the perceived risk of choosing you — and lower risk means more conversions.
What reassures people
- Security indicators at checkout (SSL, payment logos).
- Genuine guarantees ('satisfaction guaranteed', 'no long-term contract').
- Real credentials, memberships, or licences.
- Clear return, refund, and privacy policies.
Keep them honest
Only display badges and guarantees you can back up — fake or meaningless ones erode trust once noticed. A single genuine, meaningful guarantee beats a wall of hollow badges.
