How to write a value proposition that actually lands
A value proposition is a clear statement of what you do, who it's for, and why it's better. It's the core promise of your business — and if a visitor can't grasp it fast, they leave.
A simple formula
We help [who] achieve [what] by [how] — without [the pain they want to avoid]. You don't have to write it exactly like that, but every strong value proposition answers those questions.
Make it specific and true
- Name the real benefit, not a vague adjective.
- Speak to a specific customer, not 'everyone'.
- Say what makes you different — and mean it.
Put it front and centre on your homepage. When visitors instantly understand the value you offer, everything downstream converts better.
